Skills Audit: LiveType and Soundtrack Pro

We had a tutorial on how to use the programs LiveType and Soundtrack Pro during class time.
LiveType is a program which allows you to create titles in any way for video footage which would be perfect for our coursework. In the LiveType tutorial, I learned how to enter text, change the font and size of letters, ass effect to my words such as floats and pop-ups and change the style (glow or outline etc). The Image above is what I done during the tutorial and is therefore just one example of what can be achieved with this program.
Soundtrack Pro is another program we had a tutorial in and it allows you to create your own music which would be copyright free. This would prove valuable in the coursework as in the brief it says that all music must be copyright free. In the tutorial I learned many things. For example, previewing sounds, dragging and dropping sounds onto the timeline, change or delet unwanted sounds and join different sounds together. The image above shows what I produced during the learning stages of Soundtrack Pro. So far, I have used this program with my group in at least one of the exemplar clips, this one being 'The Bag Swap'.
With these tutorials in these two programs, it will improve my skills in post filming and therefore enable me to contribute to my group and help create a high standard title sequence for the coursework.
