the art of the title sequence

the style of this title sequence is very animated and almost quite creepy.
all the images in the title sequence are of animated rag dolls with buttons for eyes with someone stitching and unstitching and creating dolls, because of the use of dolls the sequence becomes quite scary and morbid because of the long sharp needles for fingers.
the needle fingers add another certain type of creepy supernatural being.
the dark lighting and green hue makes the whole scene look evil and dark.
the floating girl doll just backs up the supernatural feel to the whole opening.
the text of the word caroline is stitched into the opening red background with a black button witch sets the whole film up for a common factor that is involved through out the film.
it uses cu of the dolls being cut open with a stitch pick to emphasize the action witch can be seen as quite shocking because normally people are making dolls instead of cutting them up and pulling out there hair.
this title sequence appeals to me because of the use of imagery such as dolls that are quite creepy and morbid without being gruesome and bloody.
