Comments on the Pitch.

When doing the pitch, I had learned many things. For example, I learned just how much planning and thought that needs to go in to it in order for the pitch to work as a whole. The risk assessment was quite hard for me to do because I had never done one before. I asked Melissa to help me with it as she had more experience with it and I never knew how long and in depth the risk assessment could be. We had to mention everything from the general risks of walking on a pavement, crossing the road and going on a bus to the more dangerous things such as using the fire on the cooker and using knives in the Kitchen. We also had to do a general risk assessment of our filming location which was Melissa's kitchen.
Following this, I also learned how difficult it was to create a production schedule in a way which could be followed. It was hard because we had days off college and days where we couldn't film on location due to unforeseen circumstances. It was definitely a challenge to plan ahead. However, with this said, I enjoyed making the pitch along with the rest of the group because it enabled to make finer details about the main idea that we had first come up with. It was like building more onto the foundations. I believe it also enabled the group to grow more and get us all on to the same page or idea which has helped us all get along when filming and in all other aspects of making the title sequence.
Overall, I believe that making the pitch is not only essential to the coursework and to the teachers, but it is essential for the growth of the group and the idea for he title sequence.
